MAGICAL CITIES FIRST RISE IN THE MIND OF Héctor Urdaneta AS A DREAM.

Monde Parallele Inc.

Magical cities first rise in the mind of Héctor Urdaneta as a dream, as a revelation and then prints and recreate on his canvas, to come alive those codes with which he forms buildings, monuments, structures, replete with symbols.

They are landscapes bathed in color, which show the urban architecture impregnated with a research work that Urdaneta began with his studies at the Martín Tovar and Tovar School of Plastic Arts (Barquisimeto), when he was just 16 years old. In the Drawing and Painting workshops, as in the Graphic Arts and Theory of the Color, he learned that the stroke is free. His beginnings were marked by figuration, landscape and forms.

This academic training was reinforced with his studies in Design of Civil Works at the Antonio José de Sucre Technological University Institute, a career that culminated in 2009, to then undertake Architecture at the Santiago Mariño Polytechnic University Institute and obtain the title in 2015.

His vision as an architect makes possible a direct connection with these imaginary worlds, with cities that rise through lines, imperfect forms but carefully decanted of excesses and presented in a geometric abstractionism that invites us to perceive a beautiful, simple and impeccable composition. His urban landscapes cross borders and that is achieved, thanks to the play of colors, Fauvism has a special appointment in the canvas by Héctor Urdaneta. Skies with violet tones, leaves of trees with different nuances, the warm tones are juxtaposed in the work of the Larense creator, giving path to a combination between the real and the sublime, between the natural and the majestic, an inexhaustible fantasy that pulsates to the rhythm of shapes, figures and pigments.
With its buildings build cities, which reflect the environmental awareness of Urdaneta, as well as the perfection of cities that are preserved impeccable and restless before the viewer's gaze. It is a spell of the ideal space, which is hidden in the intention of the artist and is recreated in patinas of suns and springs, of concrete and autumns, of the foreign and the local.
Héctor Urdaneta is a creator of structures, both the artist and the architect summon those assemblages, that urban perspective, which are poetry, song and emotion made art.
